Bathed in prayer

This morning, Chris and I received devastating news, again. Our precious baby was no longer growing and her heart was no longer beating, instead, she was being held in the arms of our Father.
I won’t say that I was compleatly surprised by the news, although that doesn’t make it easier to deal with. I had been concerned and anxious about how little movement I’d been feeling for weeks. The specialist confirmed there was no heartbeat and called the midwives to let them know. After having lunch and making arangments for Inara for after Kids Day Out, we headed to the midwives office. From there we were sent to the hospital, where we have now begun the process of inducing labor. The nurse says we will more than likely be in this process most of the night and possibly into tomorrow.
I’ve been so greatfull to have had Chris with me through the whole day, and the overwhelming love and support we’ve revived from our family and friends this afternoon as the news has spread.
Our ABF has already set up a carecalander if you are interested in bringing a meal (which we don’t feel we need at this point, but I’ve learned at this point to accept help when it’s offered) the information is at the bottom of the post.
We have a friend watching Inara overnight and tomorrow, which again, we are greatfull for.
At this point, my request is no phone calls. Feel free to text or email either Chris or I, but I’m not in a place were I want to even think about talking on the phone.
We live you all and are so thankful for your love, support and prayers.

  1. Oh Courtney. My heart is broken into a million pieces for you. I can not begin to imagine how you are feeling right now, or will feel in the days, weeks and months to come.
Please know that you are on my heart, and I am praying for you and Chris.
Our God is Sovereign, and He holds each and every one of your tears in His hand. He loves you SO much, and He will grant you the peace, and comfort you need now, and in the coming days.
Please let me know if there is anything at all that you need, or I can do for you or your family.
    MUCH Love, Amanda*
